So after sitting on my copy of Professor Layton and the Curious Village for nearly 3 months, I finally managed the brain power to finish the game.
(Damn you red ball stuck in a box filled with blocks! Damn you to hell.) I liked the fact that I had to obliterate the mindset that I was playing an adventure-puzzle game--and instead a collection of puzzles with an optional narrative behind it. At first I was actually trying to avoid the puzzle triggering sequences, thinking that they were just distractions. About a quarter of a ways through though, I finally understood that the puzzles ARE the game and everything else is just charming fluff. Anyway, like most things that move me for the time, I decided to make an animation about Prof. Layton and Co. (i wanted to make one off of a DS game for a while...). The entire process from idea, recording, and animating took about 12 hours. Let me know what you think! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
