The Professor goes to Publix...

My word, I've been working on this one for a while. A lot has happened during the progress of this project including my graduation and acceptance into grad school, getting a PS3, and a bunch of nauseating flights to many different places in the America.

I wanted to try a different kind of humor than the kind established between the Professor and his assistant Luke, so I brought back the Doctor and introduced his friend Karl, who was mentioned in Part 1.

The recording was really fun, especially the later at night it got because everything gets funny at 1:00am.

Mixing the audio with so many characters was a bit of a juggle/puzzle (TW voiced all of them awesomely). I'd say the tricky part was making the audio seem like the characters were actually realistically interacting with each while creating/maintaining some comedic timing.

On another odd note, this is the only Prof Layton animation I made that kinda had a good ending, which goes against one of the rules I made when I started this series. But after three episodes where Layton is clearly worse off than when the animation started, I'd figure one can't help but take his troubles less seriously. Not to say that I'm setting him up for a bigger failure in the future, I just figure even the darkest of black comedies need a little sunlight here and there.
